A sister property of Gateway Lodge, Black Bear Cabins is a grouping of four cabins, each located within close distance to the other, have encouraged many larger groups to make Black Bear Cabins a yearly tradition.

The cabins were a heartfelt creation of the Parsons family.
Their son, an architect, customized the design of the cabins to fit the surrounding landscape.
Earthen rocks were meticulously arranged on the properties to create unique entryways and outdoor campfire areas for each cabin.
Walking behind your cabin, you may take in views of the scenic mountains with a view of Cook Forest's firetower off in the distance.
In the Spring, you'll also find beautiful mountain laurels covering the hillsides below.
