Once upon a time, two girls met and started jamming drum & bass....
then along came a fairy god-monster and she brought a distorted guitar with her....
Bite my Back was born....
post-punk bluezy sorta black/hard rock'in....
- two minutes later we decided to conquer the World (or at least Mick Jagger's attention)....
...all the while just doin' what rock-bitches always been doin' HAVING FUN - and f*** the rest!!! The name "Bite my Back" was what we often were saying to our male counterpoints - who thought we should look like this or play like this or sound like that --- thanks for all the advice guys....

I'm not a Doll (one of our first songs, check it out on Myspace) ....Girls rule! ---- keep tuned in for next part of our fairytale which is filled with hard partying, hard drinking, hard playing....
1994 was an exceptional year for Bite my Back.
We played gigs around in Denmark, twice we were filmed and then we took a pivatol trip to Pragh.
The first time ever an all-girl rock band had played in Pragh at that time, and there were posters all over - right next to Aerosmith's.
We were quite the attraction.
And five gigs were lined up in five nights.
As you might know, Pragh is well known for its wonderful beer.
And the local peach-vodka was quite an attraction.
We have many black holes in our memories from this first time gig in foreign territory….
Hmmm – I do remember the first club, a tiny venue at the University.
The stage was so small I (Hannah) had to stand with my side to the audience, otherwise I would fall off.
And the last gig in Pragh, which, I admit, was under the influence of Hopsinka (the afore-mentioned peach vodka).
Where we ended up fighting and smashing instruments in the backstage area.
And our drummer quit..
Hmmm what came first, the quitting or the fighting – I can’t remember….Sex n drugs n rock’ roll!
