Information for Stall Holders.
What’s the cost? .
Stalls site fees are $20 for hobby & business stallholders Please pay on market day..
Fundraising stallholders $10 fee please pay on the day.
.
Proceeds will go to local groups @ the organisers discretion .
.
Market Hours & Set-up: Market hours Summer 8am – 2pm .
Winter 9am – 2pm .
Stallholders summer setup 6am – 7.45am.
.
Please be no earlier than this as a risk assessments and emu walk must be done before any stallholders are allowed on site .
The park is not a campsite; organisers will not take responsibility for any stall holder camping on site if approached by local law officers.

Market organisers have reserved areas! First in best spot rule applies ensuring that you are mindful of space used and not wasted.
Susan or Aileen will be available to help make placements on the day.
When setting ensure to keep to the sides of the park along the bowling green or roadside keeping as close as comfortably possible to other stalls holders.
Centre of the park is to be kept clear this space is made available for patrons, buskers or musicians on the day.

Stallholders must provide their own equipment (Gazebo’s, tables and chairs ect).
these must be presented in a neat and tidy fashion..

Market organisers have the right to allow any reasonable stallholder the right of a stall and do not guarantee that there will not be other stallholders with the same wares/products as others on the day.

it is the stallholders full responsibility to ensure their products comply with all safety or compliance requirements.

Leaving before 2 pm please advise us so that we can ensure your packing up and leaving will not impact or be a safety issue to other stallholders & Patrons.

Stall Holder Parking: .
Stallholders requiring their vehicles to work from must park along the railway line side of park all other vehicles must be removed from the park before 7-45am.

What about insurance? .
Stallholders are responsible for there own insurance and applicable local/state government permits and/or licenses.
If you do not have your own insurance you must complete a Banana Shire Council Indemnity form on the day and you will be covered by the markets public liability there are some requirements to abide by please ask for more information if required..

Do I need a Food License?.
Non-profit organisations are not required to hold a food license (See Council Guidelines) Stallholders are required to serve/sell food in a safe manner in accordance with National Food Safety Standards..

All other food business must comply with National Food Safety Standards & Licenses.
If your stall consists of food or baking of any description please ensure you have complied with regulations, as we do not take responsibility if Council or Qld health find that your stall is non compliant.

New requirements for Charity Sausage Sizzles are that a gazebo must be used and must have 2 sides closed in & cooking equipment eg: gas bottles, bbq’s must not be homebuilt..

Each stallholder is responsible for ensuring they leave their area clean & tidy at closure of the markets, taking all their rubbish with them and ensuring there has been no damage to foliage or park & surrounding areas.
