(BSM) was founded in 1989 after James Billings, who had been working for Bergreen Sheet Metal for 12 years, decided to purchase the company when the then owner Betty Bergreen decided to retire.
Along with his wife Debbie Billings they purchased the company and renamed it Billings Sheet Metal Inc.
The original fabrication shop and office was located at 106 N.
Sixth Street in Olean for 17 years before its move in 2003 to 1002 South Union Street, Olean, NY.
