Schön, dass du vorbeischaust.
Damit du auch weisst, mit wem du es zu tun hast, möchte ich mich auf dieser Seite kurz vorstellen..
Mein Name ist Michael Walker.
Bereits seit meiner Kindheit dreht sich in meinem Leben alles um die motorlosen Zweiräder.
Meinen erste n Ernstkampf bestritt ich als Junior im Jahre 1990.
Von meinem Heimatort Glis strampelte ich mit grossem Einsatz Richtung Mattenstafel – und das damals noch ohne Helm….
1992 durfte ich bei einem Rennen in Guttet meinen ersten Sieg als Junior feiern.
Der erste Vollerfolg bei den Herren folgte 1996.
Die Saison 1998, in der ich vor allem in der Schweizer Super-Fun Kategorie startete, wurde durch den prestigeträchtigen Sieg beim Grand Raid gekrönt.
Dieses Resultat motivierte mich einmal mehr, weiter voll auf den Radsport zu setzten.
Nach einem Jahr bei den Amateuren, konnte ich in den Jahren 2000 und 2001 in der Elite-Kategorie mein Können unter Beweis stellen.
Leider wurde meine Karriere in der Folge durch eine Erkrankung (Bar Epstein Virus = Pfeiffersches Drüsenfieber) abrupt gestoppt..
Obwohl ich die Rennschuhe daraufhin an den Nagel hängen musste, wollte ich dem Radsport auf jeden Fall treu bleiben.
So eröffnete ich im April 2002 mein eigenes Fahrradgeschäft.
Dort kann ich sowohl mein handwerkliches Können als auch mein technisches Wissen voll einbringen.
Es ist mir ein grosses Anliegen meine jahrelange Erfahrung an die Kundschaft weitergeben zu können.
Seien es einfache Ratschläge für den Hobbysportler oder Insidertipps für den Rennsportler, eine fachkundige Beratung liegt mir sehr am Herzen.
Zudem engagiere ich mich auch als Nachwuchsförderer..
