Big Lake Guide Service would like to invite you to Southwest Louisiana to enjoy some of the finest fly fishing and light tackle saltwater fishing on the Gulf Coast.
Our Captains are U.S.
Coast Guard and Louisiana State licensed and insured to guide you safely throughout your fishing adventure.
We specialize in inland and Gulf charters for Speckled Trout and Redfish.
We fish the inland salt waters of Calcasieu Lake and surrounding marshes for Trout, Reds, and Flounder..

In the Gulf, and along our many miles of beaches, you will find many species of fish lurking.
There are lots of Speckled Trout and "Bull" Reds on the beach.
Triple Tail, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, and many other species are located at the close oil rigs just off shore.
We are the ONLY charter service on Calcasieu Lake that carries a Coastal Migratory Pelagics permit.
This allows our customers to legally catch and keep King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, and Cobia..

A full day of fishing usually lasts 8 hours.
We like to leave our dock at first, safe light.
All charters will depart from our dock unless other arrangements are made in advance.

Our blinds are located in a fresh water marsh adjacent to the Cameron Prairie National Wildlife Refuge.
We have numerous species of ducks including Redheads, Canvasbacks, Gadwalls, Widgeons, Pintails, Mallards, and Teal, with Mallards, Gadwalls, Pintails, and Teal being the species most frequently bagged.
We are also very lucky to have the opportunity to consistently bag White Fronted (Speckled Belly) Geese in the marsh.
All hunts are fully guided.
Hunters are delivered to a "dry" comfortable blind via boat.
You will be received by helpful, friendly guides that will call for you and identify and retrieve all ducks.
