Detailed description is Speakin' easy and jazzin' hard--a group of 8 professional and semi-professional musicians in the Dayton area who specialize in Dixieland and Swing Era jazz Big AL's SPEAKEASY JAZZ BAND is a group of eight professional and semi-professional musicians from the Dayton, Ohio area.
We are dedicated to recreating the exciting music of the Classic Jazz Age--the Dixieland and Swing eras of the 1920s, 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s--when jazz was America's popular music.
People didn't just listen to jazz; they danced to it too!.
