Who are we and what do we do?.

For the past several years, I've been going into people's homes to do physical therapy with them.
In physical therapy, our clients are given a specific goal, usually functional, and a time constraint to go along with that goal.
When the goal is met or the time limit, usually predetermined by insurance, is reached, the client is discharged from physical therapy.
I have heard the question over and over again from clients, "Now what do I do?".
My answer to them has been “Keep up with your home exercise program and good luck.
If you become significantly worse, call us”.
This facility is designed specifically to answer the "Now what do I do?" question, especially for those who will benefit from assistance with the program, set-up or progression of exercises.
Our intent is not to compete with physical therapy or with mainstream gyms but to fill that void in between.
Our equipment is wheelchair accessible which is difficult to find in Pocatello.
We are a small, intimate facility where staff is only a few steps away if you need help transferring onto equipment, equipment set up or to make sure an exercise is being performed the right way.
With this being said, we're not limited to just those who have completed physical therapy.
Everyone is welcome, whether you're just looking for a smaller, more personal feel with extra guidance or you could use that extra assistance..

How to get started:.

Every client goes through an "intake" process before beginning their workouts.
This includes determining whether you're healthy enough for the workouts, vital signs, familiarizing each person with the equipment, a fitness assessment and an evaluation to determine your personal goals, whether they be fitness goals or just improving your level of function.
Following the intake, we'll design an exercise program for you that will help you meet or maintain your goals.
Your exercise program will be re-evaluated and progressed as needed.
This is included in your membership fee and is generally what a personal trainer charges hundreds of dollars to do.
Month to month memberships are available.
If transportation is an issue, call us and we may be able to assist you with finding ways to get to and from the gym.
You will need to set up an appointment to complete the intake process.
That can be done through a phone call, email or contacting us through our website.
Once you have finished the intake, you are welcome to come as often as you like within gym hours.
Clients are also allowed to bring a caregiver with them if needed and caregiver’s may be eligible for a “Caregiver membership” at a reduced rate.
