Detailed description is Jaarlijks fietsevenement door de meest westelijke gemeenten van de Betuwe, de fruittuin van Nederland.
4e editie op zaterdag 27 mei 2017! Maak zaterdag 27 mei 2017 een prachtige fietstocht door het meest westelijke deel van de Betuwe: de mooiste dorpentocht van Nederland..
Er zijn 3 verschillende afstanden te rijden: 50 km, 100 km en 130 km..

De 50 kilometer route gaat door de 11 karakteristieke dorpen in de gemeente Geldermalsen.
De tocht gaat langs rivier de Linge, (fruit)boomgaarden, boerenerven, weilanden, grienden en diverse landgoederen, waaronder ‘Mariënwaerdt‘ en ‘Noordenhoek‘.
Deze tocht van 50km is (ook) uitermate geschikt voor ‘gewone fietsen’..

De 100 kilometer tocht maakt bovenop de 50 kilometer ’11 Dorpentocht’ een extra nostalgische lus door de plaatsen Zoelmond, Asch en Oranjestad Buren, langs rivier de Korne.
En na het rustpunt maakt de 100 kilometer route ook nog een extra lus door de plaatsen Wadenoijen, Ophemert, Varik, Heesselt en Est.

De 130 kilometer tocht maakt bovenop de gehele 100 kilometer route een extra lus in het begin van de ’11 Dorpentocht’.
Deze lus gaat grotendeels over de Diefdijk langs de Hollandse Waterlinie, helemaal richting het Fort Everdingen, maar ook langs rivier de Lek op en dwars door het historische ‘handelsdorp’ Culemborg.
Ook wordt er ter hoogte van Tricht een extra lus gemaakt door het veld.
