L'azienda Bernava nasce, nel lontano 1932, per volontà e determinazione del fondatore, Carlo Bernava, iniziando l'attività con la produzione e la vendita di scope costruite in modo artigianale.
Con il passar degli anni, intuendo lo sviluppo del mercato, comincia a commercializzare prodotti per la pulizia della casa e, successivamente prodotti per l'igiene della persona.
Nell'anno 1997, per ottimizzare un servizio al consumatore, allarga la sua specializzazione con la profumeria, operando con la seguente insegna "Bernava specialista del pulito e profumeria" il tutto in collaborazione con le Aziende più rappresentative del mercato dell'igiene della casa e della persona.
Vista la buona accettazione del consumatore l'obiettivo dell'azienda è stato quello di allargare la sua attività con l'apertura di nuovi punti vendita oggi in N° di 15 su Messina e provincia e successivamente su altre zone della sicilia.
Nell'anno 2008 è stato aperto un punto vendita con l'insegna "Casa mia" specializzato in prodotti di tendenza nel settore Casalingo.
Con la nuova insegna l'obiettivo è quello di creare dei punti vendita integrati "Bernava e Casa mia" su una superficie media di 1000 mq oggi in N° di 2 situati su Messina e S.
Teresa mentre una prossima apertura è prevista per il 2011.
