Detailed description is Want to take guitar lessons here in Bradford, Ontario? Send Ben Simon a message, and let's get started! :D Benjamin Simon began teaching the guitar at the young age of 13, where the majority of his students were actually older than he was.
Both of his parents were teachers, and he was clearly destined to be an educator (even winning the “Education Award [O.E.C.T.A] and the Suzanne Grodin Music Award” at Holy Trinity Catholic High School).
Throughout his high school years, Ben taught as a way to save up for his university education, eventually going on to get a degree from Trent University.
When his university life began, Ben placed teaching guitar aside and began to explore different career paths (in the “Concurrent Education” and “History” stream).
Though Ben always loved teaching guitar, it originally was simply a means to an end (furthering his education)..

In September of 2013, Ben Simon’s father Steven, suddenly passed away from cancer at the age of 49.
This not only devastated Ben’s family, but of course, himself.
Not be able to find any comfort aside from his own music, Ben turned inwards and started creating and writing songs.
He eventually contacted a studio and professionally released his debut album, “The Reckoning” in October of 2014.
Though this was the worst time of his life, it was at this moment that Ben realized just how important music was to him.

As a response, Ben finished his education, graduating at Trent University in Peterborough finishing the top of his class in both "Electronic Music Production (97%)" and "Human Computer Interaction (95%)", and officially opened his own guitar teaching business in May of 2016.
Keeping his community in mind, his school of guitar is located in his hometown, Bradford Ontario.
Music saved his life in more ways than one, and knowing just how important this outlet was and continues to be, Ben strives to be able to provide safety nets to his own students.
