For many years Robert Bell had the desire to start a small men's clothing company offering upscale men's attire that was stylish, classic and timeless.
Robert's brother-in-law, Chad McIlvenna encouraged him to pursue this dream and in 2014 Chad and Robert partnered together to launch Bell Robertson.
We are a 100% family owned and operated business.

The Bell Robertson name is comes from the names of Robert's grandparents.
For decades Grandma and Grandpa Bell were textile mill workers in Tarboro, North Carolina.
Unfortunately that industry as with most large production, has all but vanished in the US as corporations have chosen to outsource these jobs to overseas manufacturers.
Because of this, part of our long term goal is to return some of these jobs to the US by manufacturing products right here in the USA.
Grandma and Grandpa Robertson were tobacco farmers from Henderson, NC.
Both families knew hard work.
