3 Haziran 1985 yılında Ankara'da hayata gözlerini açan oyuncumuz, ilkokul eğitimini Mimar Kemal İlkokulunda, Lise eğitimini ise Seyranbağları Süper Lisesinde tamamlamıştır.
Lise eğitiminden sonra Hacettepe Devlet Konservatuvarı Tiyatro bölümünü kazanmış ve başarıyla mezun olmuştur.
Liseden bu yana çeşitli tiyatro oyunlarında, programlarda ve dizilerde görev almış ve almaya halen devam etmekte olan Begüm Topçu, 7 Haziran 2014'te iş arkadaşı olan Cantuğ Turay ile hayatını birleştirmiştir..
