Detailed description is “Something neat; Something sweet; Something to put upon your feet.” Our goal is to offer economically priced quality footwear, unique accessories and small portions of pre-package and local fare, with focus marketing to specific trends in the area (i.e.
bicycling); thereby enhancing the experience of the consumer and adding a benefit to the retail community that are our partners.

HOW DID WE COME UP WITH THE NAME BAUBLES, BITES & BOOTS?.
My father, grandfather and great-grandfather were all shop owners.
My Great Grandfather Ryan was a butcher; my Grandfather and my Father were jewelers and owned a shop in Ferguson, Mo.
Since I could say, “May I help you?” – I wanted to be a shopkeeper.
It was disappointing to me when the family jewelry business was sold in the 70’s, so I took a different turn and went into corporate America.
Frustrated with that life, I moved to Oregon in the 90’s to pursue my dream of becoming a shop keep, but that didn’t work out…so I found myself back in Missouri.
Not wanting to go back into the insurance business, I became a sales representative for a distributor of many diverse products.
As I look back, what I thought was failure…turned out to be a blessing.
At this position, I met my husband, Dave (who for 9 years I did not like) and we got married and travelled the US selling a major boot line for our distributor.
In 2013, the company sold and Dave and I found ourselves wondering what would be the next course of action in our lives..

SO… we began to talk.
Dave always wanted to own a footwear store; I always wanted a more “General Store” type of feel.
Where you could get specialty goods, as well as everyday things, in an inviting, fun atmosphere.
Finally, we thought, “Why do our dreams have to be mutually exclusive? What if we combined the concepts?” In this era of focusing marketing, that was crazy talk, but after visiting Historic St.
Charles one afternoon – the name we originally chose Baubles, Bikes and Boots became Baubles, Bites and Boots to encompass our love of good food and great snacks with Dave’s love of footwear and my love of jewelry and gifts.

Baby gifts, jewelry, scarves, ponchos, and other eclectic types of clothing.
For guys, young & old, we offer novelty type of guy stuff, scarves, jewelry and of course, for everyone…we offer unique boots, slippers, socks and boot cuffs & jewelry..
