Barwon Local Area Command consists of 15 townships.
Moree situated on the North West Slopes and Plains, 125kms south of the Queensland border is the largest in the Command and houses the Barwon LAC Office.
The population of Moree is approximately 9,500 and the Police Station operates on a 24 hours basis.
Narrabri situated 100km south of Moree, with a population of 7,200 is next largest town within the LAC and operates on a 16 hour basis..

Boggabilla and Mungindi are border towns to our neighbouring state of Queensland and are five and four unit Stations respectively.
Wee Waa is situated 32kms east of Narrabri and is a six unit station..
