The Barks & Biscuit Team consist of Nicole & Scott, who work as a team to care for your pets so they get all the attention they could ever want.
Nicole runs Barks & Biscuits full-time with help from Scott part-time, they are passionate about pets and treat every pet as their own..

Nicole has worked in professional pet care for her entire adult life.
Prior to working in professional pet care, she volunteered and fostered with local shelters to gain exposure and experience; volunteering with different pet rescues gave Nicole hands-on experience to properly care for all types of animals.
She entered the professional pet care industry through pet grooming, where she learned the proper techniques for pet hygiene.
After grooming, Nicole worked in pet daycare and boarding, until she branched out to begin offering professional pet care full time..

Safety is Barks & Biscuits absolute number one concern and there are many steps taken everyday to ensure safety of all pets in our care; pets from different families are never left together unattended, feedings are always done separately, and all play time is monitored.
We are dedicated to your pets care, we are in our home for the majority of the day so there is very minimal time where the dogs are home alone.
You can also have peace of mind with updates, we provide daily photo updates of your pet(s) so you always feel like they’re with you!.

We have a small pack of all rescues.
We have 2 dogs, Kiara and Roweena.
Kiara, is a dachshund/golden retriever mix and is nearly 6 years old; she is a very sweet girl who is what I jokingly call “overly socialized” she was raised in a setting where she has met a new dog every day of her life, so she gets along with everyone! Roweena is a 12 year old dachshund with spunk; Roweena came to us by random chance when she was abandoned at a nearby vet office, so of course I took her in.
Our roommate has a 1 year old mix that loves everyone, her name is Kazooie and she is possibly the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet.
We have 1 cat, Zeva, she’s an old lady, according to the vet she’s about 16 years old, she has her own area of the house where she can stay separate from any overly curious dogs..

HOURS (7am-7pm).
Our schedule is typically flexible, so we can usually accommodate most request if discussed beforehand.
There is a fee for late pickups, after 7pm ($5 for every additional hour).
Anything later than 9pm will have to be extended for another night..

Daycare Drop off: 7am-9am.
Daycare Pick-up: 4pm-7pm.
Boarding Drop off/Pick up: By Appointment; Pickup by 12pm on last day of stay .
*** ½ charge daycare fee ($11/per dog) for boarders who are picked up after 12pm on the final day of their stay***.

MEET & GREETS (15-25 mins).
For any dog over 6 months of age, we do require a meet and greet prior to booking.
The meet and greet is a great opportunity for you to meet us and ask any questions you may have.
It also gives your dog the chance to checkout our home, meet our dogs, and connect with us before they drop off for boarding or daycare.
Since safety is so important to us, we can be selective about a dog joining the pack.
Every dog is different and has their own personality, this is another reason we like to meet with all new potential clients; during the meet and greet we're able to access temperament and behavior so we can ensure we are all a good fit for each other.

Overnight Boarding: $30 .
Puppy Boarding Rate (under 1 yr): $32.
Holiday Boarding Rate: $35.
Daycare (up to 12 hrs): $22.
Drop-in Visits (per 30 min): $18; additional pets $2 each.
Dog Walking (per 30 min): $18; additional pets $3 each.
Pet Transport (up to 10 miles one-way): $12.
Bath & Brush Out: Price varies, please contact .
Nail Trim/Grind: $8.

GROOMING SERVICES.
If you would like to your dog to come home extra fresh and clean, you can add a bath to your dog's stay! We have soothing oatmeal shampoo and a calming lavender, or you can bring shampoo from home.
We also clean their ears, trim/grind nails, and brush them out.

What to expect when your dog stays at Barks & Biscuits:.

The most important thing in our home is safety for all boarders and daycare dogs, but that’s not to say we don’t have a ton of fun! All dogs get the luxury of staying in a home setting while getting to play and make friends! We cater to all personalities, dogs are welcomed to play or to just hangout, depending on their preference.
Those who prefer human attention will get a lot of love and those who are active are given tons of time to play..

Our Routine: The day starts early, first thing, we go outside for morning potty and come back in for breakfast, then after, we let boarders rest while they digest and daycare dogs arrive.
After boarders rest we spend the morning outside in the backyard or playing in the kitchen (depending on the weather).
We try to schedule nap time around lunch so everyone can recharge for more fun in the afternoon.
In the evening, everyone gets dinner and then we relax for the remainder of the night..

***We believe a tired dog is a happy dog; some dogs might be a bit lethargic for a short period (up to 48 hrs) after returning home, it’s completely normal and it means they played well!***.

We have tons of extra toys and bowls, so you can feel free to leave your dog's at home.
The only thing we ask that you provide is their food, any current medications, and their leash.
Of course, you are more than welcome to bring their things from home such as toys, bedding, and treats!.

- We have 6 ft fence with a locked gate, completely fenced in yard.
