Detailed description is Bullitt Advanced Math and Science Middle College Program produces secondary ed students with Associate Degrees at the end of high school.
Bullitt Advanced Math and Science (BAMS) is a partnership between Bullitt County Public Schools (BCPS) and the JCTC-Bullitt County Campus to provide college education to advanced high school students.
Students are identified in the eighth grade to participate in a hybrid accelerated high school environment for years 9 and 10.
At the 11th grade, students transfer to the Bullitt County Campus of JCTC where they finish the balance of their educations at the college level and complete an Associate's Degree before the end of their high school programs.
BCPS pays for all tuition and other charges, provides a daily lunch delivery, and transportation to the Bullitt County Campus.
