This festival is an initiative of the Rotary Club of Ballina-on-Richmond commencing in 2009 it has become a premier event for the Shire of Ballina.
The Rotary Club was chartered in July 1986 and has an active membership of twenty-eight.
Throughout its twenty-eight year history the Club has maintained a high community and international profile.
It has won numerous awards for outstanding commitment to Rotary projects and local events and over the years has raised significant funds for worthy charities in the local area and for disasters nationally and internationally.
The Rotary Foundation’s mission is to advance world understanding, goodwill and peace through the improvement of health, the support of education and the alleviation of poverty.
Consistent with our desire to support this compelling cause and make a real and lasting community contribution we are committed to: Staging an event of real significance that will showcase Ballina’s produce, talent and lifestyle, provide enjoyment and entertainment for the local community and visitors to our region and in doing so endeavour to raise meaningful funds for our chosen charities on the day.
