The uniform shop was just another small business under the umbrella of the BALCO Management corporate structure put in place by the Liudahl family of Williston, North Dakota.
Williston lies in an oil rich basin near the Montana border and the U.S.
/ Canada border..
Marti Liudahl took the reigns of BALCO UNIFORM in 1995 and the complacent company began to really take shape.
It outgrew five different locations and now finds itself in 4-Corners area of Bozeman, MT.
Marti founded a customer base in North Dakota and Montana that is still very loyal to this day.
She had a way with people and they still ask about her and life in retirement.
Marti’s son Jake and his wife Shawna brought their family back to Williston, ND to break into the family business in 2002.
In 2004, the company was sold to Shawna and Jake and it still retains “woman-owned” certification..
