Detailed description is Badlands Farm - Breeding, showing and driving coloured Miniature Horses up to 42".
Stock frequently for sale.
Located Central Western NSW.
We breed, show and sell correct Miniature Horses, with a focus on Small and Little Horses – “The Versatile Height”.
We also have a few resident Miniature Pony mares who have been with us since our founding days and will live out their days here.

All our stock is registered with IMHR.
Some horses may also hold MH&PE, AMHS, MHAA or AMPS papers.
Our stock is branded with our stud brand VKE and/or microchipped.

Our residing stallion is veteran small horse Jabiru Salt N Pepper who is a 100% pinto producer and also the sire of our successful halter, performance and harness filly, Badlands Disco Diva among other rising starlets.
He stands at stud by private negotiation, and all mares sold by us are entitled to a free return to him at any stage (conditions and exclusions apply)..

In the 2013 season we welcomed small horse appaloosa stallion Aziz Lucky Charm to the farm, he produced two outstanding appaloosa colts for us in 2014.
Lucky and his colts have since been sold as we decided to keep our focus on the pintos and dilutes..

Our up and coming young colt Badlands Karma Chameleon is a buckskin appaloosa colt by Palmdale Boy George (who was also our residing stallion up until 2011), and out of an extremely correct 38" horse mare by the name of Golden Reins Fyrestorm.
This colt is destined to stand at stud in 2014 and will be broken to harness once he comes of age, but will be shown in halter until such time.

But the real stars of our team are Badlands Bank Statement, silver taffy gelding, and Badlands Disco Diva, bay pinto filly.
'Bank Statement' has competed at many, many shows, and is rarely unplaced.
He excels at the performance events, particularly trail, but has also shown his talents in the jumping events too, taking out the Six Bar feature event at his first attempt at this style of jumping in March 2012.
'Disco Diva' also excels at the performance events, and has multiple championships, supremes and hi point awards to her name.
She is also broken to harness and had the fastest time on the cones at her first CDE.
This filly has done us proud and will only continue to get better! .

Also in harness we have 'South Wind Supreme's Show Me Off', a bay gelding who has been with us since he left his QLD breeder as a weanling.
He has competed in harness in shows such as the 2014 Royal Bathurst Show and is unplaced to date.
Later in 2014 we also purchased Koriana Absolute Star, who we broke to harness in 2015 and will show drive.
Next in line to join our harness team is Badlands Salt N Of Swing, who will commence his education later in 2015..

2015 also saw the addition of two double dilute broodmares to our breeding team: Silver Star Sahara and Silver Star Amy.
