Our Chief Instructor, Sifu David Crook, has more than 47 years of experience and is recognised internationally for his innovative and effective approach to teaching combat tactics..

Blitz Martial Arts magazine called Sifu Crook “The Canberra Legend” and he has been featured many times in Australian and international Martial Arts publications.
In the 1970s, Sifu Crook pioneered Officer Survival Training and Defensive Tactics Training at the Australian Federal Police College and has advised the Australian Army on Close Quarter Combat training.
He will NOT teach you tactics that will not work in a real street situation – but he WILL ensure that you are equipped to deal with a wide variety of situations and that your training is enjoyable and interesting.
