Although she has lived in several places around the world she returned to Louisiana to attend college and acquire her veterinary degree.
She graduated from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1996 prior to beginning practice in West Feliciana Parish.
She lives with her husband, two sons, six horses, five dogs, four cats and a goat.
In addition to caring for her own menagerie and family she is the sole practitioner at the Audubon Animal Hospital, a mixed animal practice.
