Mums n Bubs Ally has been a fitness enthusiast nearly her entire life! As a baby her mother took her to ‘mommy and me’ swim classes at the local pool, and she has always been a ‘water baby’.

Growing up in a small country town in Northern California Ally spent most of her time outside playing with chickens, ducks, sheep and goats! Her parents signed her and her brother up for little league soccer and baseball once they were tall enough.

By the age of 9 she regularly attended yoga classes at the neighbourhood YMCA.
There she also participated in weights training and aqua aerobics with her mother.
She loved splashing around with all the older ladies in the pool!.
By 13 years old she had begun participating in Jazzercise and Step Aerobics classes as well.
She continued her yoga, swimming and played soccer until the end of high school..
When Ally moved to Hawai’i she took up running, since it was nice to jog to the beach and have a swim and jog home.

Living in the Big Island on the Puna side there was an epic yogi community and she connected there and practiced nearly every day with a different style widening and deepening her practice.

In 2007 Ally decided to return to University and study the art of body movement.
After completing her degree she moved to New Zealand and has found Auckland to be ‘her place in the world’..
Yoga, Pilates, and gym training continue to be the focus of her life and she finds joy in leading fitness classes!.
