Le décès de Gérard, en 1998, fût une énorme perte pour l'Association; mais, aidé par son Comité, sa Famille et ses Amis, Janine n'a jamais baissé les bras....

Janine Claudel a choisi d'abandonner la présidence du Club en mai 2009.
Au cours de l'AG du 6 juin 2009, Sonia Claudel a été élue Présidente de l'Association Les Chats de France..
