Situado a cerca de 20 km da sede do município do Conde - Bahia, o distrito de Siribinha é uma vila de pescadores com uma população de aproximadamente 400 habitantes;.
Neste distrito, a partir de 2004, um grupo de pessoas passou a desenvolver um trabalho socioeducativo, tendo como principal atividade a Capoeira;.
Deste trabalho foi gerada uma Associação sem fins lucrativos Siribeira;.
Os integrantes da Siribeira identificaram algumas lacunas assistenciais e educativas na formação de crianças e adolescentes de Siribinha e passaram a desenvolver ações visando minimizar esses problemas;.
Além dessas iniciativas, a Siribeira formou um grupo de percussão, a Capoeirada, que participa frequentemente das festas populares nas comunidades..
