It honestly didn't even cross my mind to take Photography, but it was required for the high school Yearbook class.
From the very first day of class, I fell in love.
I learned all of the basics about developing film, exposing images correctly, and printing in the dark room.
After that, I wanted more, so I went to Colorado State University and became an Art major with a Photography concentration.
Those four years taught me a lot about the art behind photographs; how you can use light, color, contrast, patterns and lines to create a beautiful image.
In May 2012, one of my pieces was selected among hundreds of other applicants to be placed in two different art exhibitions: The Art and Science Exhibition at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins, CO and the Undergraduate Exhibition in the Curfmen Gallery at Colorado State University..

It wasn't until my third year of college that I started to pursue portraiture.
And here I am now! It has completely transformed my way of thinking and how I look at spaces around me.
When I look at landscapes, I no longer see just a pretty picture, I see a pretty background for a potential portrait shoot.
