We are a full service pet grooming salon that strives to pamper your pet! Amy is a certified master groomer who is both licenced and insured.
The safety and comfort of your pet is always our main concern.
We will work with pet parents to ensure a happy visit.

Having the time we need to care for your animal is necessary..

Arrive: We will welcome you and your pet asap.
You may be asked for additional information as well as a copy of a rabies certificate.

YOUR CHOICE!.

While your pet is here: You can expect that your best friend will be treated with kindness and respect.
Your pet will be kept safe, secure and comfortable.
Your animal will be kept seperate from other animals.
Your animal will be cared for by CPR certified/Animal First Aid.
You can be assured that only the highest quality products will be used on your pet (please discuss any concerns you may have re: allergies, scent intolerance etc.).

A full groom will start with a quick assessment of your pets coat, possibly trimming of sanitary areas, feet and ears.
A complete comb/brush out is so important.
We may use a de-shedding treatment.
Nails will be clipped (file and polish upon request).
Time to clean those ears.

Now it's off to the tub.
Your dog will be bathed in warm water, shampooed twice.
Anal glands can be emptied at this time.
Each pet receives a facial, this is both cleansing and soothing.
It won't irritate eyes ( I tried it in mine!) Time to rinse.
Condition, conditon, conditon! After a complete and final rinse your dog will be towel dried.
If your pet has a thick coat, we may use a velocity dryer to remove some more coat.
Please be assured that heated dryers are NEVER used in our shop, they are just plain UNSAFE.

At this time your pet will be ready for a break.

Outside, leashed and in a fenced in area, your pet can shake off, potty and relax for a bit.

Crate time, lined with a soft towel and a treat (if allowed) room temperature air blows into the crate drying your friend.
Depending on the breed, the crate time step may be skipped.
Some dogs will go directly to the grooming table to be hand dried and fluffed.

Once clean its time to groom! On the grooming table, the pet will be combed again, nose to tail.
Then the fun begins....We can groom your dog to look like the breed standard or like almost anything you can imagine.
Challange us! We can use hair dye, nail polishes and even apply stick-on earrings.
Amy will create the look you want!.

When your pet is looking its best, its time for a final conditoning spray, a light scent and a collar pretty, bows or a bandana.

Time to call Mom or Dad to come pick up...Check out is easy...we will go over your pets report card and your bill.

If it is going to hurt your animal, we are not going to do it.

If there is too much matting, a shave might be the kindest way to go.

All animals should be on a quality flea/tick medicine.
We suggest Frontline Plus, Advantage and Advantix.
If fleas are found on your pet, we must to a flea shampoo.
There is an additional charge for this.
The first 5 ticks will be removed for free..

Animals should be vaccinated.
We do not believe that OUR choices for a vaccination schedule should be forced on anyone else.
Ask your vet what is best for your pet..

Grooming generally takes about 3 hours.
We expect that you will pick up your pet promptly upon our call to you unless prior arrangements have been made.
