ALARMING STATISTICS .
Despite its scale and social consequences, Fatherlessness is a problem that is frequently denied or ignored.
Fatherless children are at a dramatically greater risk of drug and alcohol abuse, mental illness, suicide, poor grades in school, teen pregnancy, criminal activity, and 4 out of 10 children in America are born to unwed mothers.
There is a crisis in self-esteem, especially in fatherless boys, which often translates into violence..

* DRUG & ALCOHOL ABUSE & CRIME: 85% of young men in prison grew up without a father in their home.

* TEEN PREGNANCIES: Girls without a father are 164% more likely to have teen pregnancies and 92% more likely to divorce.

OUR MISSION.
We are dedicated to honoring the fatherless children in our nation who have in so many cases lost their lives to drugs and suicide, or who have become part of the statistics and are locked away in prison.
Through mentoring programs and activities we want to prevent thousands of these fatherless from becoming one of the statistics..

OUR GOAL – NATIONWIDE AWARENESS CAMPAIGN.
Our goal is to share the successful local program, already developed and successfully used for 26 years here in Central Florida, Latin America and Puerto Rico.
We want to assist in providing support and mentoring programs to as many as we can of the 24.7 million youth in the United States who are at risk in this category of living in a biological father-absent home..

We are starting a national awareness campaign, "THE FATHERLESS EPIDEMIC - AMERICA IN CRISIS," challenging communities, churches, organizations and individuals to become involved.
Join us in curbing this national trend from growing at such an alarming rate.

The proposed use of funds will be used for expansion and will grow in proportion to the amount raised.
We can begin on a regional scale, or nationwide..

Depending on the available budget, the use of funds will include small start-up grants to help those individuals, churches, non-profits and youth organizations who want to start a mentoring project for the fatherless in their area.
We will also continue to build and expand our local program here in Central Florida.
We want to use a substantial portion of the funds for creating a nationwide awareness of the consequences of the fatherless crisis and offer solutions.
To accomplish this we will use social media, print media, radio and TV, as well as speaking engagements and training for start-ups.
This will include overhead expense for the office and outsourcing some of the social and creative work.

We want to provide a variety of resources for those who have a heart for the fatherless and who want to help the kids and their single moms to improve their lives.
We already have available a DVD, a "how-to" resource kit of materials to get started.
We are also working on some additional online resources that will be available to be viewed or downloaded from our website.
