Detailed description is Offering workshops throughout the school year to help students prepare for ACT exam.
Building confidence is key to success! ACT Workshops.

A typical workshop meets six weeks before each ACT exam date from 7-9 pm on Mondays.
We will be at Vienna Baptist Church this year until renovations are complete at Wood Co Library.
I have been full every workshop and will consider adding an after school group if there is enough interest..

Sept 9 Exam: July 31, Aug 7, 14, 21, 28, Sept 4 .
Oct 28 Exam: Sept 11, 18, 25, Oct 2, 9, 16.
Dec 9 Exam: Oct 23, 30, Nov 6, 13, 27, Dec 4.
Feb 10 Exam: Jan 2*, 8, 15, 22, 29, Feb 5.
Apr 14 Exam: Mar 5, 12, 19, 26, Apr 2, 9.
Jun 9 Exam: Apr 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21, Jun 4.
July 14 Exam (new for 2018): I want a vacation! Will gauge interest levels before setting up a workshop..

What We Do.
.
My approach is from two directions: skills and strategies.
Both are necessary to achieve your desired score.
For example, you can "know" all the math strategies recommended, but if you can't perform the necessary math skills, the strategies won't be enough.
In the same way, having a foundation of skills is great, but the pressure of time won't allow you to finish the test.
Strategies can help you get through the test in a way that will get you the most points.

Part of our time will be spent learning strategies, reviewing concepts, and doing short drills.
The rest will be spent doing practice exams and evaluating results.
We will use this information to identify strengths and weaknesses.
This will help the student know what to study between workshops.
Weekly work assignments will be given to complete for the next meeting.
Through the six weeks, students will complete three full length ACT exams..
