You will gain some inspiration along the way to peruse your life as well! :) Before starting my Mary Kay business, I was (and still am) working at an agriculture retailer in the precision agriculture world of things.
Growing up, agriculture has always been a major part of my life and even though I tried to leave it in the past when I went off to college, it called me back home.
College allowed me to unfold the story behind our family farm and this opened my eyes and uncovered my passion in agriculture and continuing in my family’s footsteps.

I started my Mary Kay business after going through a rough patch in my life.
I have always been a giving type of person however I got myself into a situation where I gave to much of myself away and this resulted in a lack of happiness, confidence and self-esteem in myself.
I knew that I wanted to gain this part of myself back.
After listening to something we call “MRSCAB”, and hearing that the S stood for Self Confidence, I knew that Mary Kay could give me more than money, a product discount, or even something to do it my free time.
I realized that the best thing I could do for myself was to give myself this opportunity, and allow Mary Kay to help me find myself again.
So here I am.

Starting my Mary Kay business has allowed me to wear my jeans by day and dresses by night (and I haven’t even tried to wear cowboy boots with them yet) ...
It is giving me the chance to take leaps and bounds out of my comfort zone and in return, I am growing as a person which is what I need right now.
Surprisingly, I am constantly looking forward to our Wednesday night meetings or “Pink Bubble” where all life problems just disappear for an hour and a half and everyone is nothing but supportive, cheery, smiling and most importantly HAPPY.
Mary Kay is not only giving me the opportunity to help all the people that I love so much, but it is also giving me the chance to help myself in more ways than I ever could on my own.

Every person has their own story and their own experiences that have made them the person that they are today.
