Detailed description is One of the largest philanthropy events in the nation.
Not a bad party either! Just over five decades ago, in 1965, Alpha Psi chapter at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine held the first annual Alpha Psi Round-Up.
The Round-Up began as an event held exclusively for veterinary students.
Students would get together each spring and compete in an amateur rodeo as a way to relieve stress generated by the demanding veterinary curriculum.
The event quickly gained popularity, and was eventually opened to the rest of the university and the public alike.
Soon after, the event became known as Alpha Psi Rodeo.
As it grew, the brothers of Alpha Psi saw the opportunity to create a philanthropy effort to benefit the whole community, and not just the participants and attendees..

In the past few years, due to the tremendous support from the Auburn students and attendees from all over the country, the Alpha Psi Rodeo has grown to be much bigger than we ever imagined.
We could not be more excited and proud of our Rodeo, but with such growth comes a new set of challenges.
It has been said that in order for something to grow, it must change and we are very excited about the changes coming this spring.
The Theta chapter of Alpha Psi Alumni Association has graciously stepped in and taken over the process of organizing and producing Round-Up, the event formerly known as Alpha Psi Rodeo.
More information on changes will come shortly, but for now, we have decided to go back to our roots!.

We are pleased to announce that Round-Up 2017 will be held on March 25th at Ingram Farms in Opelika, Alabama.
Unlike the first Round-Up, this event will be open to everyone who buys a ticket! Please stay tuned for artist announcements and much more! Again, thank you so much for all your support throughout the years and please help us continue our long standing mission of community and philanthropy..
