Detailed description is Alliance Archery Club hosts a youth league night on Tuesdays and an Adult/Family night on Thursdays at the indoor range.
Shooting starts at 6:30.
We do welcome non members to come shoot with us.
Members also have access to the Outdoor Range all year.
The Alliance Archery Club was founded back in the 70's by a bunch of local archers.
The Club first started shooting in a down town building in Alliance.
They moved to Hauff House Gardens to an all GLASS building there.
In all the years the Club shot there only one pane of glass was broken! From there the Club moved to the building where NAPA is presently located.
And the Club moved again and is at its present location in the upstairs of the old Woolrich Manufacturing plant.
This is one of the LARGEST indoor ranges around! The building measures 70 yards long by 40 yards wide!.
The Club maintains an outdoor range for its members just West of the NTC facility on Kansas St.
There is an elevated platform that Members can use for elevated practice.
This is available to members year round..
The Club moves to its indoor location in October.
This is when the Youth Archery Program that the Club has starts also.
Every Tuesday area youth participate in League style archery.
Scores are kept till the end of the indoor season (last Tuesday in March) The first Tuesday in April the Club holds a Banquet for the youth that participated in the program.
Certificates of accomplishment, medals and trophies are awarded at this event.

The Club has Family night on Thursdays through the indoor season also..
The Club also holds 8 indoor 3-D Shoots starting in January and finishing in April.
There are two shoots each month.
The club has collected artificial trees to make these shoots pretty challenging.
In the Freestyle class distances of up to 55 yards are possible.
There are separate targets for the Bow Hunter Free Style (20 yards to 55 yards), Traditional and Youth (20 yards to 30 yards) and Cubs (10 yards to 15 yards).

The Club also joins together with the Scottsbluff - Gering Archery Club.
(Western Nebraska Archery Association) to put on a two day 3-D shoot in the Wildcat Hills South of Gering every June..

Alliance Archery Club Board Meetings are the first Thursday of every month at 5:30 at the indoor range..
