Detailed description is Welcome to the Alcohol and Energy Drink (AmED) Research Lab Facebook page! We are located on Northern Kentucky University's campus.
Under the direction of Dr.
Cecile Marczinski, the Alcohol and Energy Drink (AmED) Research Laboratory addresses questions about how failures of behavioral control lead to risky and addictive behaviors.
The Lab investigates the determinants and the consequences of drug and alcohol use by measuring the cognitive, behavioral and subjective effects of acute doses of commonly used drugs, such as alcohol and caffeine, in human volunteers.
Recent published work has focused on the acute effects of mixing energy drinks with alcohol..
