La Agrupación 28 de Septiembre es un proyecto de larga data que, realidad mediante, ha debido acelerar sus tiempos.
Somos un grupo de socios como vos y como tantos otros que deseamos lo mejor para el Club que tanto queremos.
Nuestro nombre tiene como identificación la fecha del Día Internacional del Hincha de River, declarado para conmemorar el nacimiento de Ángel Amadeo Labruna, máximo exponente del ADN riverplatense.
Nos interesa ser conducción de nuestro Club, y para ello creemos en la política sólo como una herramienta de cambio y construcción, con el firme convencimiento de que esta Agrupación será una verdadera alternativa donde puedan trabajar todos aquellos que quieran de verdad a River.
Seremos un espacio político y social de puertas abiertas..

La realidad de los hechos demuestra que tanto por negligencia, imprudencia, impericia o errores de gestión, las distintas conducciones no han hecho otra cosa más que defraudar nuestro espíritu riverplatense.
Es por ello que dijimos basta y decidimos darle un formal puntapié inicial a este proyecto.
Pensamos que este es el momento, porque al fin y al cabo, y aunque lamentablemente no parezca, River es nuestro, de los socios y de los hinchas..

Trabajamos en el entendimiento que el Club requiere de manera imperiosa dos ejes de renovación: el dirigencial y generacional por un lado y el de los objetivos de grandeza por el otro.
Por eso, al comenzar a diseñar nuestro proyecto, siempre estuvimos convencidos de la necesidad de gente nueva, congeniando la participación de jerarquizados socios, valiosos, profesionales, trabajadores, intachables, con los jóvenes, con los mismos valores que aquellos.

Todos los que estén dispuestos a anteponer siempre los intereses del Club, a respetar y valorar a los miles de socios y millones de hinchas que comparten este sentimiento, hoy mas vigente que nunca, encontrarán en nosotros a un par.
Queremos un club cuyos socios e hinchas se sientan participes y orgullosos y no un mero objeto electoral cada cuatro años..
