• The Abracadabra Project- Is where it all started, gifts prom dresses, prom tickets, and prom related accessories are gifted to homeless or low income high school seniors and juniors within the Lake County School system.
These girls are treated to a Cinderella experience, which includes them being picked up in a limo, treated to hair, nails and makeup, and pamper throughout the experience by a personal shopper..
• Mentoring Retreats- This has been a weekend aimed at high school girls, during the weekend we attend a cultural activity.
In the past, we’ve attended a theater production of Black Girl Speaks, a College Pep Rally at Downtown Disney and a College Football game.
Also included in this weekend, which is attended by volunteers, is mentoring and the facilitation of sessions that focus on an array of topics ranging from self-image, college readiness, and networking..
