Detailed description is L'abbaye Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul de Luxeuil est situé à Luxeuil-les-Bains au sud-est des Vosges.
Elle a été fondée en 590 par saint Colomban, ce qui a permis à Luxovium, importante cité à l'époque romaine mais déserte car complètement ruinée par les invasions barbares, de revivre.
