The vision was birthed in our leader Apostle Barbara Davis, by much prayer and supplication in 2001.
The church started out as Upper Room Prayer Services at the Holiday Inn located in Bossier City, LA .
The ministry began to grow.
Apostle Davis started the Rising of the General Prayer Conferences, birthed from her belly in May, 2002, starting in Bossier City.
Then spreading abroad from city to city: Ruston, Monroe, Shreveport, and other states such as Texas, in the cities of Longview, Marshall and Tyler.

In the conception of the ministry, we held services at 400 Preston Blvd in Bossier City at our leader’s home.
Being a small ministry, we soon acquired a room at the Holiday Inn in Bossier City.
Our first member joined on August 23, 2002, and thereafter, people joined each week until we outgrew the hotel room.
At that time, we began seeking God in prayer for our next move.
We began to seek God for a place of our own so we could have prayer services, church school etc...
and God directed a property owner to contact us.
We eventually acquired property at our present location: 939 Highway 80 East, Suite 5B in Haughton, LA.

God has done great things through this Ministry since our existence.
We held nightly conferences at the Bossier Civic Center in August 2005, inviting 100 churches in the Shreveport and Bossier City areas for prayer and asked God to heal our land and community..

We sponsored clothing and food giveaways to the Lakeside community held at one of the local church centers.
We served over 900 people with food and provided clothing to the needy for the past several years, along with the help of our sister churches and friends..

We visit local churches every 5th Sunday of the month and preach the gospel to meet the need of the people, whether it been spiritual or natural food - as we take the love of God to them..

We support the local orphanage in Kenya and sponsor 20 young people with clothing, food and aid to attend school.
