Detailed description is This is a group where people can come get items they may need or want at no cost to them, can not sell, as well as a way to give back at no cost to others.
Rockford Area Trade & Cheap Meet, R.A.T.C.M., was started in May of 2014.
We originally started out with a trade/cheap side with free in it, then gradually started having monthly free meets, and as of November 9th, 2016 we were blessed to hold our "free meets" at North Park Covenant Church in Machesney Park.
So, it was decided to leave the trade/cheap side as it is and separate the free items into its own thing like we originally envisioned it.
However, as of April 2017 we will no longer hold trade/cheap meets due to Free Shop becoming so big.
This was all started with a mothers huge collection of things that was left after her passing, her caring side, and a similar vision she had for herself that she was never able to do caring for her family.
So in memory of Linda Spence(White) we are more than happy to say we no longer have free meets but a free shop called " A Mothers Love." We will still do our monthly collections and all of our wonderful yearly events.
