Several years ago, after the birth of our first daughter, my husband and I began to look around the county for some place to take her during the day while we both worked..

I was distraught at the choices that we had.
I did not want to take my little girl to any of them! .

I wanted her to be some place where I felt she was being loved and cared for as if she were at home..
.
The smaller centers we visited were often dirty and appeared to employ individuals that did not seem interested in my husband and I, let alone our daughter.
It definitely did not feel like home.

The bigger centers overwhelmed us with the number of children they had enrolled.
They were very expensive, and frankly, they felt more like an institution, not a place where I wanted my daughter to be day after day.
It had no feeling of home..

I started thinking about all the things I wanted for my daughter and any future children we hoped to have.
I realized ….it really wasn’t that complicated.
I wanted a place where she could be genuinely cared for and feel comfortable, I wanted her to be relaxed, to play hard and learn a lot! I wanted a place that offered warm smiles and tender hearts.
I wanted it to feel like home..

Well, with God’s help, and the support of my husband and family, I created a place just like that.
