.En el año 2001 Daniel Retamozo (batería) se une a Juan Guzmán (guitarra) para formar una banda de música rock, mediante amistades invitan a Robin Ortiz (bajo) y Javier Sandoval (voz), creando “9 milímetros” o “9mm”, nombre con el que actualmente es conocida la banda..

Desde entonces y a través del transcurso de los años nuevos miembros ingresan a las filas y también muchos abandonan, realizando presentaciones en distintos escenarios locales de la ciudad de Santa Cruz de la Sierra..

Algunos demos logran grabarse con Miguel Hayes y Fabricio García en las voces los cuales han llegado a ocupar puestos importantes en los ranking de algunas radios a nivel nacional y permitió presentarse en grandes escenarios a nivel nacional..

La Banda actualmente está conformada por Robin Ortiz (voz y bajo), Juan Guzmán (guitarra), Jorge Fernandez (guitarra) y Sergio Baglivo (Batería).

El 1013 el “Ministerio de Cultura del Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia” a premiado a condecorado a la banda con el “Premio Eduardo Abaroa” como una de las mejores bandas del país gracias a la canción “Lagrimas de un Guerrero”.

El 2014 se posesiona como numero 1 un muchos ranking a nivel nacional con la canción “Soy Yo” y un gran videoclip producido por Pick Media S.R.L.
y la colaboración de músicos invitados..

El 2015 se inicia con la reedición de una canción de los cambitas denomida “El Negocito” en versión Rock .

Actualmente la banda se encuentra promocionando su primer material discográfico el cual cuenta con 12 canciones inéditas que incluyen los singles mencionados anteriormente y dos bonus track grabados con la anterior formación de la banda..
