is a non-profit 501(c) (3) health organization dedicated to reducing the number of people affected by HPV-related cancers globally and domestically.
Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia the Spirit Foundation’s initiatives are active in several US states and Latin America.
Our mission is to increase awareness about Human Papillomavirus (HPV) and provide clinical services towards the detection and prevention of cervical cancer in Georgia and around the world.
Since 2005, we have partnered with local, national, and international health agencies, non-profit organizations, and free health clinics to support and provide HPV educational programs and free cervical cancer screenings.
We seek to ensure that the disparities in the prevalence of cervical cancer and other HPV-related cancers among low resource communities no longer exist.
Our current initiatives and signature programs are: (1) HPV Uncensored Project: HPV educational program for high school students (2) Save a Life: Give A Pap Test Program at the Harriet Tubman Clinic in the Open Door Community Center for homeless women (3) Latin American Cervical Cancer Initiative: An international program to reduce cervical cancer in Latin America (4) Con Amor Aprendemos and With Love We Learn programs in the Latino and African American faith-based communities.
Our emphasis is bringing awareness about HPV related diseases and cervical cancer through innovative educational programs directed toward the entire family.
