421Holsters was founded in 2015 by Bryan Epling and his son Jacob.
Both men are career Firefighter/EMT’s in the State of Michigan and are proud members of the International Association of Fire Fighters Local 421.

The idea to establish a family business started when they were looking to purchase concealed carry holsters for their own personal use.
After visiting numerous local gun shops, scouring the internet and purchasing inferior products for their own handguns, the idea was born to fabricate their very own holsters..

Each spent months researching the different style holsters on the market and the actual product Kydex, which is an acrylic-polyvinyl chloride composite engineered for thermoforming fabrication.

Our “taco style” Kydex holsters offer adjustable retention, full sweat guard and a 15* (FBI) cant.
Our leather hybrid holsters are made with .080 Kydex and only the finest quality leather, with a 15* (FBI) cant.

Our warranty does not cover .060 thickness Kydex if requested by the customer.
We only use .060 when specifically requested and those products come with a workmanship warranty only.
Our warranty also does not cover intentional misuse, damage and/or destruction.
This rule was put into place because replacing products by those that choose to intentionally damage or misuse their product and then seek coverage under our warranty, simply interrupts 421Holster production of quality products for our valued customer base.
