Detailed description is Meet the friendlies we have rescued from the streets/alleys.
We are raising funds for medical treatment they need for health certification and adoption.
3438 Right Place Right Time Rescue is a limited rescue devoted to rescuing friendly cats (strays and abandoned) and kittens living in feral cat colonies in the Langston-Hughes neighborhood of Baltimore City.
We expect to become a 501c3 soon; we do not have our 501c3 status currently (as of May, 20, 2016).
We will raise funds to get the cats/kittens we find fully vetted and veterinarian certified as healthy in order to place into adoption programs (or, to adopt them out, ourselves).
Our preference is to place the cats/kittens into adoption programs with other rescues or shelters who can do the essential screening/placement, once we have obtained medical certification of health for each cat/kitten.
Until we obtain our 501c3 status, we will raise funds under the individual name of one of our Board of Directors on a GoFundMe page; and we also offer to do natal chart readings for sale at $50.00 per reading.
Our Board of Directors are three, and include Ruth Canan: an animal lover and feral cat colony caretaker, labor and employment and animal welfare lawyer, a member of Baltimore City's Animal Hearing Panel since 2013, and a former Board of Director Member of Community Cats MD, Inc.
("CCMD")[2010 through March 2016]; Sheila Summers: an animal lover - especially cats! feral cat caretaker and participant in local TNR program; resident of Baltimore City for more than 40 years; retired from Federal Government; Shelly Howard, DVM: animal lover and feral cat caretaker, veterinarian in private practice with Timonium Animal Hospital, volunteer veterinarian with the TNR clinic programs of the MD SPCA and CCMD, Board of Director member of CCMD since 2012.
