Detailed description is 212° Salon is Livingston's favorite Place for cuts & colors.
My motto is to love your art , love your customers and most of all love yourself.
With every hair shaping or color the client always receives a complimentary follow up one to two weeks after there appointment to make sure everything is working for the client.
That is a complimentary appt, this includes a deep conditioning and style and of course any adjustments if needed.
.212 Salon believes in giving back to your client .
I do client appreciation month once a year, complimentary bang trims anytime and for the women a makeup touch up after your service I want every person that walks out of my salon feeling there best, that is the whole meaning of 212 Degrees.
A quick background of me is I worked under Kim Alexander at Capellis Salon for 9 years and was an educator for Wella,Sebastian and Nioxin.
I was blessed to travel all around the united states and to Egypt for a Libyan prince.
Ive been published in Guitar magazine featuring Billy Shene hes a famous base player most people would know him from a band from the 80s called MR, Big he did go on and play with many more famous bands.
Ive worked for many photographers such as Larry Dimargio not only did Larry shoot a lot of the playboy models he also developed the Dimargio cord that goes from the electric guitar to the amp " if you are a guitar player you will know what I am talking about.
There are many more photographers that I have worked with that you can check out in my portfolio in my salon but will soon be on my FB page.
along with all of my education and work , I've been working with Denise Coravelli also known as CMA modeling agency for about 7 years now , I do hair and makeup for photo shoots and fashion shows.
A lot of people ask me why I am living in Livingston and some of you know but I did grow up in this town and after the loss of my grandparents and divorce I wanted to come home to my roots to be closer to my father he and I have a very special relationship.
Plus I was able to make a career that I loved and learned so much education and had so many wonderful adventures with amazing hairstylist's including my amazing mentor Kim Alexander who I still keep in contact with but we all know traveling all the time and being a mom is hard to do .
I found myself loosing the love of hairdressing from all the stresses.
So I decided to come back and open 212 Salon and I have found my passion again its not a job it's now my art again , I have found my creative artist again in me .
I am not only an artist of hair but I Love painting , designing clothes for fashion shows I put on and I'm even learning to play the blues on my guitar.
When you walk through the doors of 212 you not only feel very welcomed you have a very amazing atmosphere of art all around you, along with getting pampered and not for an extra cost but because I love to make people feel good about themselves, my mentor always told me to always give back to your client your much more than just there hairstylist you are a confidant , friend , a counselor a person in there life through major events to weddings, funerals and much much more.
That is really what the meaning of 212 Degrees means , push yourself to your boiling point do nice things even when no one is watching , when you want to be busy 5 days you work 6, when you are tired and just want to go home and not take that walk in client you do because 212 is pushing yourself to be the best not just for you but for you to help inspire others to do the same.
"pay it forward"!! Growing up in this town girls always teased me because I was different and I know that still goes on to this day, I love to help mentor girls that are having a hard time because I may have been teased to the point of cutting myself , dropping out of school and getting my G.E.D I allowed them to make me not love myself .
I now am so thankful to those girls because I am proud to be different and have been very respected in my industry for my uniqueness and was paid very well for it , I came back again to find my passion but to also give back to this community and too young girls feeling the way I did when I was there age and hopefully inspire them to LOVE themselves because one day they might be doing exactly what im doing right now.
