Growing up on Long Island, Valerie spent her free time drawing and riding horses.
While owning horses on Long Island was too expensive, Valerie spent her time at Old Bethpage State Park Stables, grooming horses for free in exchange for riding on the weekend.
Valerie later raised a family and began a children's book illustration service which has flourished over the last seven years.
She has just completed the artwork for Dance With My Kitten, a book written with choreographer Corky Ballas of the popular TV show Dancing With the Stars.

Pierre spent his summers on his grandfather's farm in Quebec where he tended to animals, including horses.
His plan was to follow in his grandfather's footsteps and own a farm.
Pierre later graduated from Cornell University where he earned a PhD in biochemistry and became a college professor.
He also engaged in plant research, studying diseases and seeking to reduce the use of artificial fertilizers in agriculture.

Two Bear Creek farm consists of 8 acres of beautiful, naturally-managed pastures, an outdoor riding arena, and borders scenic Seeley Creek, along or across which horses can be ridden.
Plans are currently underway to forge trails through twenty acres of wooded hillside across the river.
The horse stalls are Amish-built, hard wood stalls,bedded sawdust, and provide ample protection against inclement weather.
Five stalls are currently available for rent, and more stalls are being planned.
An outdoor riding arena and tack room are available.
