Detailed description is Professional Theatre in Tysons Corner 1st Stage is the creation of a group of teachers, artists and actors in Fairfax County who wanted to bring professional theatre to Tysons and, in doing so, give local artists an opportunity to grow in their careers.
The mission of 1st Stage is to be a bridge between educational and professional theatre for young and emerging professional artists.
The theatre will provide a necessary platform for discovery and confidence in young artists through focused actor and technical education, thorough and vibrant connection to experienced professionals, and on-the-job training through performance art..
