Operated out of downtown Brockville Ontario, our mission statement is to bring skilled and quality teaching to students of all ages, in all musical styles while sparking a lifelong passion and pursuit for music.
Students will learn how to play songs in many styles, read music, become skilled with “ear training”, learn many techniques and terms, and most importantly learn to effectively apply it to their playing and performing..
Founded by owner, instructor and local mutli-instrumentalist Leo Diensthuber, 1000 Islands Music brings 10 years of teaching experience in both Ottawa and Brockville, as well as over 18 years of writing, recording, and touring experience to it's students..
Leo has played both guitar, drums and bass in several known projects and is currently writing, recording, and playing live with progressive instrumental rock band “Divine Realm”.
