　　吴开桃，号西山墨，1943年出生于福建省闽侯县荆溪镇关口西山村的一户农家，从小受父亲和私塾先生的启蒙，喜欢上书法艺术，先后师从沈觐寿、潘主兰先生，得其悉心指导，受益匪浅。　　当日，记者在吴老先生的书房兼工作室，有幸目睹他于2019年至2020年历时两年时间第三次将中国古典名著《三国演义》120回内容雕刻在30枚寿山石章上的微雕作品。　　借助吴开桃递过来的放大镜，只见《三国演义》微雕作品里每个字大约有0.5毫米左右，都是在放大镜下刻成的，微雕的模式突破了单一的方块模式，创造了“双沟”“串字”“镂空”等多种形式；采用微雕与微画相结合，阳雕与阴刻相映衬的手法进行创作。　　吴老先生坦言，经过近40年的潜心研究，自己将书法艺术移植于寿山石雕，或篆隶、或真草，尽可能充分体现醇厚的书法韵味。�
