Becky Chambers: The Wayfarers series is about everyday people living within a fantastic, intergalactic future. I built a very classic sort of space opera universe, then flipped the camera around to focus on the intimate slices-of-life that exist in the distant background. Our setting is the Galactic Commons, a vast political union that facilitates trade and travel for the varied alien species that call it home.
