Cumbria Farmer Awards 2021 will honour the county s farming unsung heroes

It had been planned to hold the much-anticipated event in the spring, but Covid-19 has led to the decision to move the event to a new date this autumn. Entries for the 12 categories will now be reopened until May 4. The Awards will be judged by a panel of respected industry experts and specialists from a wide spectrum of backgrounds, headed by Andrew Robinson, partner and head of agriculture and farming at Carlisle-based business advisers and accountants Armstrong Watson, our headline sponsors, who are also sponsoring a further category, the Lifetime Achievement Award, as well as the drinks reception.

Celebration of women in agriculture webinar hosted by H&H Group

PIONEERING female panellists will be featured in H&H Group’s latest interactive online webinar. H & H scheme helps employees to home-school children

WITH millions of parents across the country struggling with the responsibility of educating school-aged children, H&H Group has announced a support package to help their employees with at least the technological aspect of home-schooling. In the midst of a UK digital divide, parents have grappled to source and provide enough technology devices to aid their children while learning from home. H&H Group’s ‘Buy a Laptop Scheme’ will deliver £150 of financial assistance to those employees who need additional support to purchase these technological necessities for their children.
